Travelling to our Sunday gathering

Wherever possible, we encourage everyone travelling to our Sunday gatherings at London Street URC to do so using environmentally friendly modes of transport.  Doing so reduces our impact on the environment and local community, whilst also promoting good health.

Walking and Cycling

London Street URC is in the centre of Basingstoke and is very easily accessible on foot or by bike.  Please consider walking or cycling when you come, it’s good for you, the environment, and our neighbours.

Bikes can be locked up outside or alternatively we’ll find somewhere safe to store your bike inside the building.

You can view the current Basingstoke Cycle Network Map by clicking HERE

Cars & Parking

For those travelling by car, please consider whether you can car share with others.  This helps reduce our impact on both the environment and the local community.

Parking on Sundays is available at the BRIDGE CENTRE, NEW ROAD, BASINGSTOKE, RG21 7PJ and is only 0.1 miles / 2-minute walk from our venue.  Entry to this car park is only available between 3:30pm and 4pm as there is a barrier which is operated by one of our volunteers.  Should you arrive before or after those times, there are several pay & display car parks along NEW ROAD.  You can also find a list of car parks HERE

For those travelling by electric vehicles, you can find a list of charging points HERE.
